Most potential employers spend an average of 5-10 seconds initially reviewing a resume. Your resume needs to quickly garner his or her attention in order for the actual content to be considered.

Merely having a “nice” looking resume that lists your chronological experience is not enough. Along the same line is the matter of format.

The format is important, but all too often job hunters equate a nicely formatted document that looks good with a resume that has done its job.

Prior to writing your resume you and I will spend 1 hr (via phone, or in person if applicable) talking about which positions you are applying for, what you hope the new resume will achieve, what types of companies you will be applying for and which skill sets you need to highlight to qualify for the positions you are seeking. The information gathered here will be used as the foundation for the content of your resume (and if you so choose, potential career coaching sessions).

The price of all PowWow services are based on an hourly rate system. Your hourly rate is determined by your current earnings.

The cost of your resume includes your one hour session as well as the finished resume.

Current Salary $30-49k                         = $137.50

Current Salary $59-60k                         = $162.50

Current Salary $61-70k                 = $187.50

Current Salary $71-80k                        = $212.50

Current Salary $81-90k                        = $237.50

Current Salary $91-100k                        = $275.00

Current Salary $100-150k                = $312.50

Current Salary $150 -$200k                   = $350.00

Current Salary $200 +                           = $387.50

*Current Salary= Full compensation including base salary and bonuses. If you are not currently employed "Current Salary" will represent the amount you made prior to unemployment. Please note you may be required to prove salary with a copy of your most current w2 (or 1099) as appropriate. No personal information other than your salary will be required. 

How quickly will I get my new resume:

Your Resume will be written within 3 business days of the session. Resumes that are needed quickly will require a $25 quick processing fee and will be sent to you within 24 hours of your session.

There are other options available to you as well upon request.

Edits are available for a small fee and will be billed according to the work required to satisfactorily produce the finished product.

What is the purpose of the 15 minute consultation if I all that you need is a resume?

Each potential client receives a free 15-minute consultation. The primary purpose of this chat is to get an idea of what is motivating your current search. By knowing this ahead of time we can more quickly get to the content in our actual session. Following the consultation you will receive an email including a questionnaire and a request for your resume and relevant job information. At this time we will schedule an appropriate time for the full session.
